This price list is in Euro and is valid from October 2022 until the end of March 2023.

Half day tours generally begin at 8:30 am and end at noon depending on which tour you choose.

Full day tour usually begins at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm depending on which tour you choose.

2 day tour usually run from 6:00 am and continue until 5:00 pm the next day.

It is recommended to dress appropriately (long sleeves and hats if needed) and remember your sunscreen.

" Banjul City " and Albert market

Tour of the lively, colorful Capital with a visit to Gambia's second largest colorful market. Here is everything the heart desires. We'll drop by the National Museum and other sights, ending with lunch at a local restaurant.

Fishing Trip on The Gambia River

The day starts with a drive out to the docks and after boarding the boat, we will have some light refreshments. We will then motor out to the mouth of the Gambia and enjoy fishing for lady fish, butter fish and other delicacies. After working up our appetites, our hosts will cook us lunch, which we will enjoy on the boat. The sailing trip takes approximately 5 hours. There are life jackets for everyone.

Gambian Cooking Class

The day starts with the purchase of fresh ingredients at the local market. Discover new foods and flavors like domoda, local juices and sweet green tea. You will then return to their homes and prepare a full Gambian meal with the help of local women. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and eat your delicious meal together. There is nothing more authentic than sharing food and culture together over a meal.

Fathala Wildlife Park and Safari Tour

The day starts with a drive to Banjul where we will board a ferry to Barra. You will experience the hectic port life in the northern part of Gambia and then travel through border control to neighboring Senegal. The border is another interesting experience in itself where the two cultures of the Gambia and Senegal meet in a flurry of commercial activity. After a short drive, we will arrive at the "Fathala" nature reserve, which offers an unforgettable trip around the bush where you see the wild animals in their daily surroundings. 

This tour is available as a 2 day tour as well for an additional fee. Please inquire.

Roots - Kunte Kinte Island

Slavery is fortunately long over, but the traces from the hard times are still here. It can both be seen and experienced on this emotional tour. It is here that Kunta Kinte from Alex Haley's book "Roots" was captured and enslaved to be brought to the United States. We will take a boat to the island to see the slave prison and then return to enjoy the local museum. This tour also requires a ferry trip from Banjul to Barra with an hour drive down the north bank of The Gambia.

"Makasutu" The Sacred Forest

The forest holy man "The Marabout" reads your palm and tells about how your future is shaping up. Hear if it is true or false? Climb aborad a boat where the mangrove trees surround you while you sail through the cultural forest and are told about the forest and its diverse life etc. You can also take an inspiring walk in the forest with a local guide all the while he tells about the beginning, the construction, the development and the history of the cultural forest which was started in the 90s by 2 British men. Lunch is served by the locals inside the forest while you are surrounded by the wild animal life .

Back to "Old Africa" ​​exciting 2 day tour

This tour starts with the ferry ride from Gambia's largest port city Banjul to Barra and then take a private car for two hours to the mysterious Stone Circles. There we will board a boat to see some amazing Gambian wildlife including possibly, chimpanzees, hippos, dolphins, monkeys, and birds as we sail through the River Gambia National Park. We will pass several islands that have been conserved for wildlife in the Gambia. The boat will dock at the Island of Georgetown/ Janjanbureh. There we will tour the slave house, the slave market and freedom tree. We will stay the night here at a safari camp. The camp is without electricity, but you will also be treated warmly and well by the local population as you experience a night in the forest. The next morning you will pass by and witness traditional Gambian village life as we make our way back to the hotel. 

Accommodation is included. Lunch and dinner on the first day and breakfast and lunch on the second day. For the sleepover, please remember a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, mosquito repellent, sun hat, etc.
